Setting up your site's branding
The Societal Labs template allows you to manage your branding directly from the database. Please follow the below guidance to ensure you have the best experience. All branding for sites created in this template are managed using the site branding data type. It's important to follow the following instructions as the details contained here will guarantee your template works optimately.
Step 1: Visit your site database. You can find your database by clicking the Data button located on the left sidebar of your template installation.
Step 2: At the top menu, click on App Data. This is where you can edit the data inside your database.
Step 3: On the left sidebar of your database, find the All Site Branding button. Click it.
Step 4: Edit the default row of data provided. Please do not create another row of data inside this data type. Having more than one row of data in this data type will create issues with your site branding.

- Keep the data on the site branding data type updated.
- Consider adding a logo, fav icon, site name, site tagline, site SEO description, and homepage featured image (for SEO purposes).
Don'ts
- Don't create another row of data on the site branding data type. Creating additional rows of data will cause conflicts on the site branding, including the logo, site name and some SEO features.
