Please note: You must add your HubSpot API to the backend, on the HubSpot plugin. Once you add your API there, you can visit the Admin Dashboard from the front end of your site and enable this integration.

Setting Up Your Integration

  1. If you don't have an account yet, visit https://www.hubspot.com/ and click the button: ‘Start free or get a demo’. If you already have an account, log in and jump to step #4.

  2. On the ‘Get Started with Hubspot’ page you are presented with several products, related to Marketing, Sales, Service, etc.

  3. Progress through their wizard to get your account set up.

  4. Once you are logged in, you want to locate the API key as we’ll be needing that for the Hubspot plugin configuration.

  5. Click the Cog icon near the top right of the screen.

  6. Then in the left side menu, browse to: Integrations | API key

Note, if you have previously created a key, the text will be Show ref https://knowledge.hubspot.com/integrations/how-do-i-get-my-hubspot-api-key

7. Click Generate API key.

8. Make a note of this key in a secure password management system.

9. You’ll also need to know your UserID. You can find this is the URL of your logged-in Hubspot session.

Currently, the HubSpot integration is limited to the following:

  1. Create a new user in HubSpot when that user signs up for an account in your platform.
