# Deleting Subscriptions

We use the *Delete Customer Subscription* webhooks to ensure when users cancel their subscription on their Stripe customer portal, the subscription information gets updated on your platform.

You should wait until you're on a paid plan and have added your custom domain to your platform before doing this step as the webhook will be based on the custom domain you add.
